Hanna-Sofia

Hanna-Sofia Virtanen is a woman with a deep connection to nature. She gets inspiration from
mother earth and natural waters. Hanna has a masters degree in ecology and evolutionary biology
and a background in water preservation and research since 2008. Today she works in the field of
complementary healing and helping people to reconnect with nature and their natural inner selves.
Water and water bodies such as lakes and springs are integral in her work. She teaches
reconnection to the conciousness of water and nature through pilgrimages and sound healing.
Hanna-Sofia is one of the founding members of Vedenkansa ry and works as an active member.
Hanna-Sofia has trained her body and voice as a healing instrument for several years with Michael
Schirmer as her teacher. She graduated as a soundhealer in 2023 and as a soundmaster in 2025

and is currently further educating herself. Hanna-Sofia has worked as a cranio-sacral therapist
(CST) since 2021. She has also studied traditional Chinese medicine in the years 2021-2022 and
different energy healing tecnigues with experienced finnish teachers.
